yesterday, the girl i was eyeing all month sat next to me. i gave her one of my earphones and played this song. we didn’t say anything to eachother. but when the bus made its final stop. and the whole album finished. she said, nice music with a smile and walked away. it was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Plus the vocals in the verses aren’t ‘poppy’ either. I don’t know what it is exactly, maybe lack of reverb or something, but it sounds very ‘hollow’. In a good way.
This was the first ever Porcupine Tree song I ever listened to, I have since indulged myself in all their other songs and increased my love for this fantastic band.
So thankyou this video for introducing me into Porcupine Tree all those years ago and thank you Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson for being such a bright beacon in this bleak MTV pop ran music industry.
@Lizbroome12 you know why? because theres no dumb-ass dare to enter this video. btw anyone knows band Oceansize? not very similar to PT, but i recommend them
The video is good. You can listen the performance of former student, now pianist “Robert Rossi. Rain and you”. here on Youtube.
@metaldemon52 That was cute! But make your move dude or you’ll end up regretting it. Good luck : )

This is the most random music video I’ve ever seen.
Even their mediocre songs are GREAT!!!!!!

zero dislikes lets keep it that way
I don’t think even The Beatles could hold a candle to PT.
Steven Wilson is my hero
PT is one of my favorite bands!
@GrubisicM
Or ANYTHING of theirs.
Stupid Dream is an example of how to make a GOOD poppy, hook-laden album. I love PT.
Great song! amazing outro.
(Dany callifornia – rhcp?)
@GrubisicM I reccommend all xP
I love it! It’s a really nice video
